American Academy of Pediatrics - Vermont Chapter

ImmunizeVT.org is a project of the American Academy of Pediatrics Vermont Chapter designed to provide parents and other Vermonters with factual information about immunizations, as well as share the stories of people who support them.  

Through ImmunizeVT.org, you can:

• Learn more about immunizations, including vaccination safety facts, reasons to immunize your child, recommended vaccination schedules, common myths about vaccinations, and how they actually work.
• Join in the effort and voice your support of immunizations by signing a statement that will be shared with policy makers, submitting your “Why I Chose to Vaccinate” story, writing your local newspaper, or contacting your elected officials.
• Watch and listen to the very personal stories of parents, pediatricians, disease survivors and scientists who, for various reasons important to them, support immunizations.

In an environment in that has become increasingly hostile to sensible, science-based public health policies that have dramatically reduced the rates of serious, deadly diseases in the state, it’s important that immunization supporters make their voices heard.
