Pediatrician for General Pediatrics Practice
Gifford Medical Center, located in the heart of beautiful Vermont, seeks a pediatrician looking for the best of work and life. Gifford is a community hospital in Randolph within an hour's drive of multiple ski areas and population centers like bustling Burlington. Mix that with the quiet streets, rolling acres and quality schools of Randolph and the surrounding area, and you will find why so many love calling Vermont home and Gifford their workplace.

Gifford is a 25-bed critical access hospital with five outlying health centers in communities surrounding Randolph, providing the perfect combination of advanced technology and family-centered care. Primary care is Gifford's foundation and access to quality, personable providers is one of the hospital's strengths. Gifford is looking to build on that strength by adding a fourth pediatrician to its experienced and dedicated three-person team in Randolph. This position is full-time in a general pediatrics practice with an active and renowned Birthing Center and 24-hour Emergency Department. The work schedule consists of outpatient office with call approximately one in five days with hospitalist coverage. The Emergency Department covers most of the night calls with on-call pediatrician responsibility limited to nursery and emergency room consults.   The position is salaried with a bonus based on productivity after the first few years. The hospital will also assist in relocation expenses for the right candidate, provides competitive benefits and a generous retirement package, and both onsite parking and childcare.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible pediatricians. Experience is preferred but not required. Gifford's outstanding pediatric team will train the right candidate.
